The Last Waltz LIVE is a re-creation of the Band’s classic concert film featuring The Rev Tor Band as The Band (accompanied by a full horn section) allong with a cast of about a dozen local, regional, and national artists as the film’s special guests. Not a tribute show, but rather a powerful community event, each LWL concert features a new lineup of guest artists making it a unique, all-star experience. Oteil Burbridge of The Allman Brothers, Jeff Mattson from Dark Star Orchestra, The Grand Slambovians, Aaron Maxwell of God Street Wine, Charles Neville, the Nields, members of Max Creek, Rachael Sage and Meg Hutchinson are just a few of the artists who have participated in a show, and that is the caliber talent one can expect at any given concert. - I lack the language to express the simply fantastic music, the awesome spirit, the camaraderie of the musicians, the MAGIC of last night’s Last Waltz LIVE production!! Some things are felt in the heart and in the soul, and this evening was one of those moments for me! Thank you all so very much for a Night of Magic!! – Helen S., Last Waltz LIVE audience member
- The Rev Tor band was a particularly adept house band for this event, allowing for the breathing space that everyone might require but providing a ton of foundation. The result was not only a great concert for a great cause, but also a parade of musicians that helped to define the current music scene in western Massachusetts. – Live Music News and Reviews
- Holy Cow – what a great night! – Karin Watkins, General Manager, Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center
- I’d like to thank you for this opportunity to get together with this remarkable group of musicians to play. It served to remind me once again what incredible talent there is in this area, and what good people are playing it. It was terrific to be a part of this. – Mark Mercier of Max Creek, Last Waltz LIVE musician
